Calicut University Distance Education Admission 2022-23: Admission for the academic year 2022 started soon. Calicut University, founded in 1968, offers students a great education. - Students who have completed Higher Senior Secondary can apply for BA courses.
- Students pursuing a B.Sc degree must pass 10+2 with a major or core subject.
- B.Com Students are eligible if they have passed HSE with at minimum one commerce subject, or students who have passed HSE sans commerce subjects, but with a minimum of 45%.
- Students who have passed HSE with at least 50% are eligible to apply for BBA.

Calicut University Distance Education Admission 2022
SDE UOC Admission 2022 for ug and pg programs is going to run between June to September. The online registration window shall be activated by the SDE UOC for the completion of the academic year admission process. SDE UOC application form and prospectus are available free of cost on the website of Calicut. Aspirants can enroll offline by downloading and submitting the same at the admission campus of the SDE UOC.
The School of distance education of UOC proposes BA, BCOM, BSC, MA, MCOM, and MSC. UG degree admission fee is INR 1200. But, aspirants who want to get admission to the PG degree programs will need to deposit INR 475. Admission to SDE UOC is completely organized without entrance test inclusion.
Calicut University Distance Education UG Admission
Students for the Graduate programs can choose the courses like – BA, B.Sc, B.Com, and BBA for the admissions procedure. The study pattern at this university for the distance programs is very well set up. The UG program’s intake is through the merit scores and no other procedure or exams are defined for the admissions. Students need to clear the 10th and the 12th class from a recognized university.
The procedure of admission to I year B.A/ B.Sc/B.Com/B.B.A Degree Courses (Regular)

BA: Bachelor of Arts is a three years Bachelor’s degree. Calicut University offers BA through distance learning to students who passed the Higher Secondary examination or equivalent from a recognized board in India. This course is available in numerous specializations such as English, Malayalam, Hindi, Sanskrit, Arabic, Afsal-UL-Ulama, History, Economics, Political Science, Philosophy, and Sociology.
BBA: School of Distance Education introduced new Specializations in BBA courses like Cooperation, Finance, Banking, and Computer Application from November 2022. Bachelor of Business Administration is a three years bachelor’s course. The minimum eligibility needed to get admission is at least 50% marks in the 10+2 examination and 5% relaxation for OBC/SC/ST candidates.
BCom: Calicut University offers three years (semester-based) Bachelor of Commerce in distance mode. Candidates must have cleared the 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks from any recognized board of India. To get admission, Students must visit the official website.

- Original Transfer Certificate from the last institution studied
- Original, self-attested copies for Mark lists and Qualifying Certificate.

- If you are eligible for cast-based relaxation, you can apply for a Community Certificate.

- Those who have completed Plus 2 through the National Institute of Open Schooling should submit an Equivalency Certificate from the University of Calicut.

Calicut University Distance Education PG Admission
Calicut University’s PG admissions for 2022-23 will start soon. Students can apply online now. Calicut University offers UG and PG courses online on its website. The university provides PG courses such as MA, MCA, MSc, MCom, MBA, M.Tech, etc. The minimum eligibility student must have completed graduation with 45% 55% marks. Students need to apply online on an official website. They must fill out and apply. A merit list is used to determine admission. Applicants are selected for PG programs based on their merit, and there is no entrance exam.
MA: The university offers a master’s in arts to students through distance learning. The students can choose according to their interests. SDEUOC offers MA in almost 11 different subjects like English, Malayalam, Hindi, Sanskrit, Arabic, History, Economics, Political Science, Philosophy & Sociology. The MA course duration is of 2 years which consists of 4 semesters. Students who want to enroll in this course need to fill in the criteria, which say that they should graduate from a UGC-recognized university and obtain 55% marks in their graduation degree.
MCom: Calicut University, SDE, offers an MCom of two years. Candidates who prefer to study M.Com must graduate with 45% marks in any of the courses like BBM, BBA, BCom, or BBS from the any recognized University of India.

How to apply for Calicut University Distance Education?
On the university’s official website, www.universityofcalicut.info, you can download the application form. Visit the website’s home page and click the relevant links for access to the online application. The website contains the prospectus as well as information on the fee to be paid at the time of admission. Within the time frame specified in the admission notification, the completed registration form, along with the following documents, should be delivered to the Director, School of Distance Education:

- After reaching the link students will have to go through the registration process where the name, Aadhaar number, mobile number, and email ID are asked.
- After this process, students will have to fill in their personal details, and educational details, and students will have to submit all the documents may they be signatures, photographs, mark sheets, and all documents should be scanned and filed properly.
- Click on Sign up to enter your details – Aadhaar Card E-Mail Mobile Number.
- Sign In after registering successfully.
- Choose the course you wish to take and complete the details. Upload your JPEG file and click on Submit.
- You will then be directed to the payment window. Make the payment. Pay the fees online only

Spot Admission
Students can also apply for the spot admission process; in this process, students need to send the application along with all documents to the University distance education department. And also, pay the fee by D.D. or Net banking; University will verify the information documents and check the status of the Fee. They must pay Rs60/- After verification, Students also have to present the original certificates returned to them.

Distance Education Calicut University Eligibility Criteria
B.Com: Candidates who have passed(Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least one Commerce subject are eligible for admission to the B.Com Degree course. Candidates who have not studied Commerce subject for Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination with not less than 45 % marks are also eligible. Calicut University Distance Education Results
- The University of Calicut uploaded their results on its official website. The candidates can check the results by searching the ‘examination results’ tab on the website’s homepage.
- Click on your semester course and enter the necessary details mentioned on the site and correct the captcha, then submit it. After submitting, the exam results will be displayed on the screen. The candidates can download a copy of the result sheet.
