MDU DDE Admission 2024
For undergraduate UG and PG courses, Maharshi Dayanand University will soon conduct application forms for admission to the 2024 session. Application forms for all the courses can be found at www.ddemduadm.samarth.edu.in. The application fee charges of Rs 600 to Rs 1000 will be payable at the time of registration, and the course fee will be paid after confirmation of admission.

Students who want to be admitted to the bachelor’s program can opt for courses like- BA and BCom. There are various specializations available for academic study. Students need to clear the 10th and 12th classes from a recognized board. The selection of all UG programs is on a merit basis, and there are no entrance examinations for any UG programs.
BA (Bachelor of Arts) Distance Education
- The duration of the BA distance learning course is either 3 or 4 years.
- At MDU, a Bachelor of Arts distance education degree course is offered in semester mode.
- There is no entry test conducted by the university for admission to this program.
- An aspirant should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 33% aggregate marks for admission to the BA program at MDU DDE.
- In the Bachelor of Arts course, students learn about social science and how it contributes to society’s growth. Among other topics, students learn about country economics, world history and geography, and political science.
BCom (Bachelor of Commerce) Distance Education
Students keen to apply to the three-year (semester-based) BCom program must possess a 10+2 or equivalent certificate with at least 40% of marks from a recognized board in India.
MDU Distance BEd Admission 2024
The application processing fee for the BEd degree program is INR 1000 for general and INR 600 for reserved categories. Candidates with 50% marks at the bachelor’s level can apply for admission to the MDU DDE BEd program.
MDU Distance Education PG Admission
MDU DDE PG Admission offered courses like MA, MSc, and MJMC for new academic sessions. The university conducts no entrance tests for PG courses. Students for this program must complete their graduation degree, and for the MA and MCom programs, students need to obtain at least 50% marks.
- MSc: MDU offers an MSc program only in mathematics. So, only those students who have a bachelor’s degree in science or mathematics can be admitted to this program.
- M.Lib.I.Sc.: Master in Library & Information Science is a two-year PG program, and the university offers this course in DDE mode. A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% (general) and 42.75% marks (SC/ST) is the eligibility criteria for the course.
- MCom: It is a 2-year post-graduate degree program offered by MDU University. Any student who has completed a bachelor’s in commerce, BBA, or Bachelor in Arts in Economics, Mathematics, or Marketing can apply for the course. If a student has a compartment in any subject, then the student is not eligible to apply for the course.
MDU MA Distance Admission 2024
Following are the important details that a candidate must know before taking MDU MA distance admission in 2024:
- The MDU DDE offers a 2-year distance education program in the specializations of Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Political Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Economics. History and Public Administration for the January 2024 session.
- For admission to this program, candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks (42.5% marks for SC/ST/Blind/Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana).
Note: For admission to MA Sanskrit at MD University, Rohtak, under distance learning mode, candidates should have passed their bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit as a compulsory or Elective subject.
- The annual fee for the MA program at MD University DDE is Rs 9,600. But for the SC/ST category, candidates from Haryana need to pay only Rs 6,700 per annum.
MDU MA Hindi Distance Education
Master of Arts in Hindi is a 2 years distance learning program offered by Maharshi Dayanand University. Students must complete their Bachelor’s degree in Hindi subject or equivalent with aggregate marks of 50% from a UGC-approved university in India.
