It has a separate section for offering distance learning through the Periyar Institute of Distance Education (PRIDE), introduced in 2001. PRIDE admission 2022 can start for the ug, and pg programs in the academic year cycle. Admission session of the PRIDE is arranged online. Hence, aspirants can make PRIDE courses registration at the comfort of anywhere. Admission to PRIDE courses are offered with the help of entrance, or previous passed exams scores.
The distance institution will grant direct admission to BCOM, BA, and MA programs. But, The entry to PRIDE MBA professional course is surely be given on the management level exams marks like CMAT, or CAT. Interview or counselling session is only organised for the PRIDE MBA course. PRIDE University UG Courses Admission
Periyar University Distance Education offers a wide range of programmes, including undergraduate programmes. BA, BCom, BBA, BCA, BSc, B, Lit, and other UG courses are available at the university. UG courses are open to students with a 10+2 or equivalent in the relevant field. The UG application form will be available from the fourth week of May to the second week of June 2022. The university offers two bachelor’s degree programmes, which are listed below.
BA (English) – It is the most popular degree course in English specialization among students that provides knowledge about grammar and also helps to improve English Communication. The duration of providing the programme in Periyar institution of distance education is three years, and the course is split into six semesters. The PRIDE chooses students for the programme who pursued their 10+2 or equal qualification (10+ITI/ 10 +polytechnic or diploma) with the minimum marks according to the set criteria of the Periyar university centre of distance and online education.
B.Com – It is the most chosen stream by the students of commerce background. The course gives knowledge about economics, accounting and also covers the topics about dealing with management-related problems. In PRIDE, the course is split into six semesters with the three years given time period. This institution selects the students who have cleared their HSC or earned a diploma course after the 10th class.

PUDE PG admission 2022 commences in various departments like arts, & humanities, business & administration, commerce, and sciences etc. Online applications are to be followed for all programs.
