The University was established in 1954. It is located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The state Govt of Andhra Pradesh is running all the affairs of this university. Later in 1972, the management set up a unique body that handed over the burden of distance learning at the main campus of SVU. This body promoted the culture of distance learning in urban and remote areas. It helped a lot in increasing the national literacy rate.

SVU DDE Admission 2023-24

Sri Venkateswara University DDE is not offering any program in distance learning mode for the current session. Sri Venkateswara University provides regular programs on the official website, and the students aspiring to admission to the offered courses are required to fill out the registration form listed at www.svudde.in. 

Candidates who wish to process the registration/application through DDE Counselling Centres are required to pay an amount of INR 500. All filled applications should be sent either personally or posted to the director of DDE under SVU. The admission to UG and PG programs is followed by a theme of non-entrance. Here, students get admission on the policy of first cum, and first, serve basis.

Sri Venkateswara University Distance Education UG Admission

Aspiring students for admission needed to have passed their 12th class or equivalent education from a recognized institution or board.

BA: Applicants who have a valid certificate of passing 12th level exams from any recognized board in India with 50% marks are applied for admission. Students have an option of specialization in different fields like fine arts, music, acting, etc.

BCA: Bachelor of Computer Application is the expanded form of BCA. The duration to complete the course is 3 years. The BCA degree is offered at the UG level. Students who have completed their intermediate education from any recognized board are eligible to apply for admission.

SVU Distance Education PG Admission 2023-24

SVU admission PG 2023 admission will soon be available for Arts, & humanities, commerce, science, library, and social work streams. Applicants can pick up the desired course by using an online/offline mode of admission. SVU invites candidates for PG degree, and PG diploma programs like MA Economics, MA English, MA Political Science, MA History, MSC Maths, MSC Physics, MSC Botany, MLISC, MSW, and more. 

Admission to SVU PG can be made through qualification in the previous exams. The minimum qualification to get admission to SVU PG is a bachelor’s degree from a UGC-approved institute/university in India. There will be no need for an entrance test for admission to the SVU PG programs.

Sri Venkateswara University Distance Education M.Sc. Admission

• Eligibility: Applicants who have done a B.Sc. from a recognized university in India with 50% marks can apply for the M.Sc program.
• SVU DDE MSc Application Fees: Local Indian students have to pay just 195 INR as an application fee.
• MSc Specializations: Mathematics, Computer Science, Psychology, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany.
• MSc Fee:  The fee for this program ranges between Rs 8,000 to Rs 20,500.

SVU Distance Education MBA Admission

Sri Venkateswara University DDE offers a Master in Business Administration to graduates. Students must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned by the university. They can check it on the official website or on the digital prospectus of the university. Students need to qualify entrance test to be admitted into the professional courses.

The March 2023 exam timetable has been released by Sri Venkateswara University Distance Education. Examinations for UG, PG, and MBA courses will be started on 24 March 2023. Students must carry the examination hall ticket to sit in the examination hall.

SVU DDE Assignment 2023

All the students who pursue any UG or PG course at Sri Venkateswara University through open and distance learning modes must write and submit the assignment that carries 20 marks in each paper. Students can download the assignment question paper for both the previous and final by visiting www.svudde.in/newsandevents. Students need to submit the assignment before the deadline announced by the university.

SVU DDE Results

SV University distance education examinations March/April 2023 examinations results will be released in July 2023 (Tentative). Previous exam results of the university are already available on the official portal www.svudde.in. Candidates can check the results till April 2022 by visiting this portal.
