VTU Distance Education? : VTU is one of India’s best technical Universities under India’s govt. The govt set up this university in the year 1988. Admission to the VTU Courses is based on merit or entrance exams. Visvesvaraya Technological University admission application will be available on its official site soon for regular learning courses. As we mentioned above this university doesn’t offer admission to any UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, Certificate, Engineering, and other courses under distance learning mode. For more updates, students should visit the official website of the VTU.
VTU offered multiple UG courses, including B.Tech, B.Plan, B.Arch, and B.Tech (Lateral), and PG Courses, including MBA, M.Tech, M.Plan, M.Arch, etc., for interested candidates. The duration of B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan courses is 4-5 Years, and B.Tech (Lateral) is 3 Years. Similarly, the Duration of PG courses MBA, M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan is 2 Years except for MCA (3 Years).
Candidates who have 45% marks with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, And Math) aggregate from a recognized board of Education in their 10+2 Examinations are able to apply to UG Courses, and the Candidates are eligible to apply for PG Courses with 45% marks in Graduation aggregated from a recognized university.
VTU Distance UG Admission?
VTU DDE UG Admission will begin soon. The admission session will open for engineering, & technology, architecture, planning, vocational, etc., departments.
Admission to VTU UG DDE Programs opens for B.E./B. Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan, B.Voc, and more. Entrance exams like JEE Main and NATA will be held for admission to B.E./B. Tech, and B.Arch. Qualified candidates for the university/state or national level entrance exams will need to appear in the counseling session. Other traditional program entries to VTU DDE UG are given directly.
- BCA: Students who have passed the 10+2 exam from any recognized board in India can apply to this program.
- B.Tech Admission: Candidates who qualify 10+2 examination with PCM with 45% aggregate marks from a recognized board of education are able to apply for B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology). Selection will be done on the basis of their performance in JEE main or KCET cutoff percentage. Also, you need to fill out the document requirement.
- B.Arch Admission: Candidates who need to take admission in B.Arch or BPlan are selected on the basis of NATA cutoff marks. So, make sure you give your best in the NATA Entrance examination test.
- BVoc Admission: Candidates with a 12th or equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 45-50% marks are eligible to apply for admission to B.Voc admission at VTU. The fee charged by this university for the BVoc program is INR 10,460/-

Admission for PG will start soon for technology, & engineering, business & management, IT, Planning, etc., programs. Candidates can apply to various VTU DDE PG programs like M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Arch, M.Plan, PG Diploma in Healthcare Management, and more.
Admission to PG 2024 programs through VTU DDE is based on entry and non-entrance requirements. After completing the GATE and CAT exams, applicants are granted admission to MBA and M.Tech. programs. However, only those who have passed the VTU DDE pg entrance test will be offered admission to the M.Arch program. Students can participate in the interview and finish the admissions process by passing the VTU DDE PG or state/national level entrance exams.
- LLM: After completing the LLB degree program from any recognized university in India, you can apply for admission to this program.
- M.SC: After completing a B.Sc degree from the any recognized university in India with 45% marks, you can apply for admission in this course.
- M.Tech or M.Arch Admission: Candidates who appear GAT/PGCET entrance exam and must obtain a qualifying score are eligible to take admitted in M.Tech or M.Arch courses.
- MCA Admission: You need to qualify PGCET entrance exam test to secure admission to MCA Course.
- MBA Admission: To take Admission in MBA courses candidates must have to qualify CAT/MAT/GATE/KMAT entrance exam.

VTU DDE UG and PG Admission Eligibility Criteria?
PG Admission Eligibility: Candidates who score 45% aggregated marks in the post-graduation in the concerned subject from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the Post-Graduation program.
- The candidate scores at least 45% marks in the 10+2 examination with PCM from a recognized board of Education for B.E/B.Tech Courses.
- To apply for B.Arch candidates must have a 10+2 with PCM or a 10+2 with Diploma examination with maths as a compulsory subject.
- B.Plan: 10+2 with Maths and Physic as a compulsory subject with Chemistry/ Biology/Computer science/ engineering drawing from a recognized board of education and Candidates need to secure 45% marks in the pre-university examination conducted by the Karnataka state.

VTU Admit Card
Applicants will get their admit cards via SMS or the email address they used to sign up. The applicants must log in to the admissions site and print out the admit card. The applicants must put a coloured passport-sized picture of themselves that they have signed and dated on the admit card. The exam date must also be written on the card.
